I am going to answer in two parts one on big bang one on evolution:
The theory of the big bang doesn't really solve anything because it just says that it was packed into an infinitesimally small dense region then burst apart and has been expanding ever since. There isn't a huge amount of proof for this but there was obviously enough for it to be turned into a well regarded scientific theory. I have heard some argue was the method god used to create the universe; first creating the matter then expanding it and directing it as he saw fit. In the christian version a god who has always existed created all of this, he is infinite, he always has been, and always will be. They also believe he can alter any of this as he sees fit and that he has control over everything within. Atheists on the other hand have used the claim of the big bang theory to say that it was the beginning of the universe however this would go against the law of conservation of matter because the matter would be being created which is not possible (except by god according to christians). So if the matter was not created as that would violate a scientific law (laws trump theories) then the universe did exist before the big bang either in this infinitely small ball (i think the scale i heard was something like all the matter in the universe would have to fit into the volume of a tennis ball) or as a universe that was getting smaller until it reached this size, could no longer sustain itself (too much matter jammed into too small of a space) and exploded (the big bang). I will start by pointing out that in the first case there would be no catalyst for the change from condensed to big bang and a big bang would violate newtons first law of motion. In the latter case the universe is infinite, the same thing christians say about god; if you're willing to believe in an infinitely existing universe then why do you have such a problem with an infinitely existing god?
Now onto evolution. So far as i know christians do not disagree with micro-evolution (survival of the fittest, very small mutations replacing others over time) just not macro evolution (same origin, "transitional species"). That is to say species can change in very small ways through genetic mutation however they cannot become a whole new species through this process and we do not share ancestry with grasshoppers. There have been very few scientific finds of "transition species", species where an animal is partway between one two different modern day animals and those that have been discovered have all (with the exception of the most recent one and there has been doubt on this one as well) been proven as false finds so far as I know. Really there are so few solid facts to support evolution atheists just use it because they have no better model and refuse to believe in a creation.
I'm a christian personally but I attempted to not bias against atheists in my answers and to give the information i could in a fact based way. I apologies for anything untrue about the actual science I talk about I tried to look most of it up as I wrote however all of these arguments were drawn from memory so please anyone who can prove me wrong answer with an @Cody so I can see what you disagree with and either defend my reasoning or admit I am wrong. Lastly I will leave you with a quote from an atheist evolutionist who studied biology and won a nobel prize among other things :
"There are only two possibilities as to how life arose; one is spontaneous generation arising to evolution, the other is a supernatural creative act of God, there is no third possibility. Spontaneous generation that life arose from non-living matter was scientifically disproved 120 years ago by Louis Pasteur and others. That leaves us with only one possible conclusion, that life arose as a creative act of God. I will not accept that philosophically because I do not want to believe in God, therefore I choose to believe in that which I know is scientifically impossible, spontaneous generation arising to evolution."

Religion and God is what you call delusions. That is the temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying to erect meaning/purpose in a life that does not inherently have one.
If life actually has no purpose, you don't make up a God just to suffice your natural want of purpose, to force meaning/purpose in life. It's the same reason why people get drunk/high/inject themselves with hallucinogenic substances. for some it's the exhilaration (wow people in this church actually like me, i like this social setting), for some it's because they can't accept reality as is.
---
And for the record, I do believe there is purpose in life. But you have a different definition for purpose. Your definition of purpose/meaning of life is in the grand scheme of things, in terms of eternity and for the greater good. And God must be in the picture for there to be that form of purpose. Well of course, you made your own definition of purpose synonymous with the existence of God. so if there's purpose, there must be God de facto. circular logic

Fear arises in concepts our imperfect minds cannot fathom.
The difference between people is whether they choose to accept it or not.

That particular explanation is nothing but a strawman argument anyway. Neither the Big Bang nor evolution ever claim that.
