That is a so-called Kernel-Panic. The Mac equivalent of the blue screen of death.
It is not necessary a virus. I recommend to boot your Macbook from the install CD/DVD and run the Disk Utility program (put CD/DVD in, hold down ALT directly after you turned it on and select the CD. Think you can also press D or C, not sure)

MOst likely not a virus (unless you’re running windows); It’s probably a bug in the system. Contact Apple Tech Support, or try using a different web browser like Google Chrome or Firefox.

  3. Collector Dx Says

Viruses are a giant problem. You need to wipe your hard drive to help the virus get off. Use a malware protection to find what the virus has infected, and where those files are. Then find the source of the virus on your computer, and delete it

What makes you think it’s a virus? There nothing in your question to point to malware. Why is it users think if anything goes wrong it’s a virus? You should go to apple support forums and get some free help there.

There are no MacOS X viruses, you can’t have one. You have your system software messed up. First run the disk utility program in your utilities folder. Have it repair your permissions and verify your hard disk. If it finds a problem, follow the on screen directions to fix it. Also run your software update program, you may have an old version of Java running. If that doesn’t work, phone Apple.
