Walking into church last night we had some people out the front singing a song that had a really catchy tune it went “”We’re Here! We’re Queer! Get used to it! … my mother placed her hands over my ears and eyes (but I could still here)hahaha and rushed me into church.
On the car ride home I started sing the tune and my father pulled the car off the road and turned to me and said “DON”T YOU EVER SING THAT” omg I have never seen him this angry his eyes were bulging and the tone was very disturbing, let’s just say I thought he was possessed by the devil.
What have I done wrong as my parents refuse to explain?
BQ: If you know the name of the song/band let me know and I will download it from itunes without then knowing.

its a protest slogan used by the lgbt (lebian gay bi trans) community…… its not really a song by a band. your parents are probably mad because they prob fall into the christian category that hate gay people. christians hating gay people still baffles me because this has nothing to do with their life nor does it affect them in any way.
You do realize that the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin, right? Regardless of your beliefs, what they did was disrespectful. That’s like walking into a Jewish synagogue and singing “You missed out on Jesus, He’s the one who sees us! You’re gonna go to Hell, while we’re all doing well!” or something like that.
obviously your from a church going family and they are afraid of burning in hell for their child’s way of life. I am a wiccan and my family hates it, but I just tell them If your god doesn’t like it then we will deal with it when I meet him.
