Herpes? My Partner Has It, Not Sure If I Do?

By admin Posted in: symptoms

About a month ago, I had unprotected sex with a friend that has herpes. I have oral herpes thru hereditary lines tho. I’m getting an std test next monday, the 20th at the doctors. Before that friend, I had already gotten sores from sweat and moisture on my butt and on my inner thighs since I’m a bigger girl and I had itching too but that was from right before I started my period so it was a yeast infection. And I’ve gotten boils on my vagina but I didn’t have any stds. Well, after that friend I still have the same symptoms popping up as they usually do but since I’ve been reading up on herpes, It sounds like I have it. After my friend, the right side of my clit was hurting and itching but that went away after a week. But my sores usually have puss like a pimple and my boils are filled with blood. and I’ve had yeast infections before I started having sex. I just started shaving my vagina again and I have razor bumps. Is this just my paranoia of herpes before I get tested next week or have I been infected this whole time?

    Sorry, but Kat is wrong.
A viral culture must be taken within 24-48 hours of an outbreak to tell you whether you have herpes.
AFTER that, the IgG type-specific herpes blood test is THE standard for herpes testing. Since your own immune system will fight the invader, it may take anywhere from 2 weeks-4 months for the antibodies for herpes to show up in your blood. By 3 months post-exposure to herpes, you will generally have a very reliable test result.
You have HSV-1 (oral herpes) because someone who had cold sores either kissed you as a baby, or you got it from friends or in school. Herpes is NOT hereditary!
Bottom line, you need to have the IgG type-specific herpes test. You MUST ask for the test because standard STD testing does not include ANY test for herpes.

All you can do is wait to see a dr. Try not to stress in the meantime. Even if you do have herpes, it’s not life threatening. You can live just fine having herpes, it’s just uncomfortable when you have an outbreak.

Don’t be scared of herpes there is a natural cure for them but first you must build your immune system by stop taking medications and eat everything organic including your fruits, vegetables, and meat if you eat it.Start excercising its healthy and do some hot yoga and shower atleast once everyday. Your immune system will start getting stronger and it will fight off the herpes naturally without meds. If you don’t believe me look into it do your research just be clean and use Condoms for goodness sake.

To get a good diagnosis, you have to have an outbreak. Blood testing for herpes results in too many false positive results, it’s just not acurate in most cases so many doctors don’t even test for that. Plus, since you already carry the HSV virus, you are even more likely to get a false positive result. Nowadays, it is common to have HSV-2 on your lip and HSV-1 down there.
It is possible that you have it. Your doctor will be the best to tell you what it is though.
