I have recently been prescribed zoloft (setraline) for insomnia that is caused by anxiety. I don’t get overly anxious, its more that even a tiny bit of anxiety causes me to be un-able to sleep, so the zoloft is more for helping me sleep rather than reducing anxiety. However, after doing some research into it, i have read that zoloft may actually cause insomnia as a side effect? so is it actually going to help me? i have been on it for a week, and i have found that my anxiety has decreased by I cant really tell if it has helped me sleep of not . Anyone else been prescribed zoloft for a similar situation to me? has it helped you sleep? or is it going to make my sleep worse?
….also…my lips have become really dry since i started taking zoloft, is that a side effect of zoloft or that just a coincidence?
