Hi, my cousin’s parents HATE me. her mom hates me because i steal (her little sister told her parents) but i told her i wouldn’t do it again, their mom didn’t listen. I admit, that was my fault. She still hates me very much and do not want me to hang out with them.
But I absolutely cannot stand her dad. I am not the brightest person and I don’t get straight A’s. I get C’s, B’s and A’s. They’re Asian and if you get anything less then an A, you’re considered stupid. So i want to be either a nurse or an engineer and he told my parents that he doesn’t believe I’m gonna do any of those because I’m stupid. Oh and their grandma that lives there, hates me too and calls me stupid. She said I am more stupid then my cousin who is 7.But my cousin (13) likes to be around me, but I hate her parents..what should I do? She always ask why i never come to her house and I always lie to her and say I’m tired or asleep… I am 18 and just moved to another state, so I have no friends.

There has been a BAD history of me and my dad… I put him in jail because he followed me with a pair of scissors and they will always think of me as stupid. ALL of my dad’s family and the man that lives with me are f**ked up.

Man, you don’t have it very good. Just tell your cousin that he/she is a great person to hangout with but you just cannot stand the other family members. Tell him/her you would like to hangout with her outside of the house like go to the park or store or whatever. You can also try and make up with their family and just say your sorry for what you have done in the past and they need to let it go and it wont happen again. Tell them not everyone is perfect and not all the people in the world can live up to their standards and its disrespectful that they try to be little your because of your average grades. They have no right to judge you and you have to make decisions for yourself.
