I came across this article on yahoo – 52 Shi’te minority muslims were killed in Afghanistan during their holiday.
all the people in the comment section said very harsh stuff like “I piss on islam” “i piss on allah”
“all muslims should die” “god bless america” “who cares, muslims killed muslims thats a great news” all those hateful comments got at leasty 60 thumbs ups.. it amazes me how ignorant and hateful people are these days.. not even one person said R.I.P to the innocent victims..
i know its all freedom of speech but why do most people choose to say negative things instead of saying something smart.

Because, most of the population of the world is extremely under educated and lacking spirit. They desensitized themselves through violent media and are stubborn narrowminded folk, seldom is their few such as me and you who understand their are people who regardless of religion or whatever, deserve ot be treated respectfully no matter how bad they may be.

people need to learn that this wont be tolerated and they are the main reason the world is the way it is now. be glad friend, that you can live on something other then hate. it makes you stronger, and in a world that will beat you to your knees youll be ok if you only appreciate others for what they are.

It is because they are ignorant. No one has to agree with anyone else, that’s why it is freedom of speech. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean “you must agree” it’s just giving opinions and all. The things you have pasted here, are hate. That is over the line than just freedom of speech. I noticed you only cared about negative things on Muslims. Understand that everyone is a victim of hate.

The people who usually say these things are the same deluded idiots who make up the BNP, white supremacists etc. a lot of anti-muslim sentiments emerged after 911, that’s when I first really started to notice the absolute mindless racism.
You might call me stupid for saying this, but, 911 created a lot of money for the west, 3-4000 people died in the world trade centre… almost a decade on and most probably 1-2 million Iraqis and Afghans (don’t know the figures but I guess it would be a lot more) have been slaughtered. but, the power mongers gained oil, the war mongers sold arms and they succeeded in getting us to turn away from the problems with our own governments, our own democratic double-standards.. and got us to hate someone else. here’s a figure 5%, that’s the percentage of the world population who are American. 25% of annual world production is consumed by the U.S…. I’m not blaming Americans but crikey, they need to get their people on the war path if they want to keep up that kind of consumption.
forgive me if this sounds wrong or insensitive, but, it seems that western powers periodically decide to bomb the **** out of poor brown people. to get rid of old munitions and grab more land and power.
Our society breeds contempt, it is there to create divisions.
