Is This A Sign Of Bipolar Disorder?

Previously I’ve been diagnosed with major depression. I also every once in a while enter an enraged state, where I punch things, trash personal items like laptops, tennis racquets, monitors, etc. and pretty much lose it. My right hand is permanently messed up from having had these episodes.
If bipolar is a possibility, isn’t it true I will never get health insurance again? How can I get treatment without leaving anything on my medical record?
